A presentation to prepare

September 2nd, 2010

To prepare hand-made charts, graphs, or other poster and flip-chart aids, begin with a rough draft that allows you to see how your aid will look when ii is finished. If you will be using poster board, prepare your draft on cheaper paper of the same size. With a light pencil, mark off the margins to frame your aid. Divide your planning sheet into four equal sections to help you balance the placement of material. Use a wide-tipped felt-tip marker to sketch in your design and words.
Now step back to view your presentation aid from about the same distance as the back row of your audience. Will your most distant listeners be able to read the words without straining? Is everything spelled correctly?

Prepare Physically

August 2nd, 2010

Hygiene is always a consideration at any time and for any activity. It is comfortable to review after a refreshing bath and tooth brushing and in your bedclothes. Do your chores fast but carefully before reviewing, so you do not have to bother about what you neglect doing.

If you cannot regularly eat foods that provide all the nutrients your body needs especially for strenuous acitvities like periodic exams, take vitamin-minerla supplements. You will find many in the drug stores sold over the counter or without needing a prescription. Ask the pharmacist for suggestions and choose among good ones at affordable prices.

Do you need a medical or dental check up for any illness or pain? Do it as soon as you can. Illness or tootache will definitely interfere with reviewing. How much more with effective reviewing? if you already have an existing illness, you should be taking medicines your doctor prescribed.

Preparing for the Examination

July 2nd, 2010

No matter how exhaustive your review guide, you should finish your self-test within the morning, afternoon or evening. You have been reviewing daily and testing yourself weekly, so the review guides should not be that difficult or long. If you want to go slowly, each guide should take you two hours at the most and you should not have errors.

* You are likely to finish the morning review around snack time, so reward yourself with snacks. Do not repeat the review on day 1. After your snacks, rest your mind. Do not recall your own questions even quietly or try to remember the correct answers. Leave them and free your mind. If it is lunch time, have lunch and then take a refreshing map
* Having kept the review guide and your notes for that subjects in your drawer or table, do the review guide of the next subject after your map. Follow the same procedure. Do not think of any other subject but this one you are reviewing. Keep your full attention to it but without tension. Do not tempt or cheat yourself by looking at your own notes or make self concessions and excuses. It is perfectly all right if you make mistakes or forget some items. Stop when you reach the end and keep the review guide for a while.
* Do the review guide of the third subject for the day 1 after supper and cleaning up. Perform the same steps as before without bothering about mistakes or misses. When finished, keep the guide and notes and sleep soundly.
* Within a week, each subjects is reviewed twice at its own time. Do not write your answer on the review guides from day1 to 6. Just answer mentally. You will realize that, by the sixth day, it will seem that you know practically everything in each subjects and you are not nervous at all.
* The seventh and last day should be the day before the first day of examination day. On this day, schedule all of your review guides with one or two hours interval between two subjects, ranked in the same order. begin the right after breakfast or as soon your chores are finished at home,

Responsibility

June 2nd, 2010

Responsibility may be defined as the obligatory duty to which a person is bound by reason of his status, occupation or assigned task. Embodied by reason in this definition are three main elements of conduct: namely compliance, obedience, and dependability. Compliance means action in conforming with directives that flow down from superiors to subordinates. This is responsibility for perormance. Obedience means submission to the guidance of an authority. This is responsibility for person.

With reference to dependability this means reliability and trustworthiness. This is confidence that develops when tasks are commensurate with capabilities. This means responsibility for duty.

Responsibility , obligation and privilege are components represented the personal internalization of the work values, the emotional commitment to these values through the sense of obligation about work and the rewards coming out interpersonal relations in the form of privilege. When one makes profound changes in doing things that is responsibility. When things go wrong and one takes steps to do better rather than blame other that is responbility.

Reviewing your lesson daily

May 2nd, 2010

The human brain naturally stores repeated impressions or ideas fed to it by our senses, thoughts and imaginations. This is what happens when you review your daily lessons. They are automatically preserved in your memory like a taped information. An they remain there until you change the contents. You do not need to exert great efforts at memorizing something that has already been strongly and repeatedly kept. This recorded information only seems to disapper when you stop recalling and using it.

Realize the importance of reviewing your lessons at the end of the day. Reading alone will make the lesson stick to your mind tightly. Give yourself a definite study time afte afternoon snack when you reach home. Whatever level or year you are in, you certainly have two or three hours free time after classes. Bring your notes to a cool, most quiet place in the house and read your notes with understaning, with the intention of reviewing and memorizing. Doing this daily is much easier than trying to swallow a whole weeks lecture notes. If you miss a day’s review of the lessons, try to make it up the folowing day. But never neglect reading and reviewing before the week is over. Or surprise quiz or test will scare you.

But when I am in fourth year high school I’ve been influence by my classmate to take a computer course, because that time the modern technology was starting to be recognizing by almost all of the people. That is why after graduating in high school I decided to take an information technology course which is computer programming, but after one year I’ve decided to transfer to another school but it is also about information technology but my major was change into computer system and networking technology, it is just a two year course, I finished that course with an award of PC and networking expert of the year, after that I teach in a college students in their computer subject, but after two years I stop teaching and start studying again with the course of Bachelor in Secondary Education major in Physical Science, now I am still working on it. Now I’ve realize that taking this course is very useful today, it is because most of the schools today are lack in teachers, especially those science major. I’ve also realize that it seems that it was a dream come true, because I remember when I was a kid, I really want to be a teacher. Now I hope I should finish this course, with the help of God.

Share what you have

March 2nd, 2010

Why do those rich people waste their millions of money just for their lust? Wherein if they just think, they can give it to those poor people and help them, having food to eat 3 times a day and having all the things that you need is fine, but why those person wanting something where that it is just an excess on their life. Where in fact many people today are poor, without something to eat, and those children are pitiful because they can’t have their education, wherein it is part of their right, to have an education, those rich people should share their excess money to the poor people, if they don’t want to give money, they try to established a free school for poor people, wherein they don’t need to ask a payment from those people, they need to established a school, hire a teachers that will teach the children then they also pay the teachers, I know one person who do that thing, even though he is not a rich person, he give some children a free education, if you can pass the exam then you can have his scholarship, his scholarship is different from those politicians, before his scholarship involves free lunch, free uniform, and even free books, if you are too far from that school you can stay in the dorm that is also free, you just need to study, you don’t need to think about the payments on school, just study and learned. I was hoping that other people who have the capacity to do this will do this also. They should help others.

Does Education can achieve only in School?

February 2nd, 2010

One of my professor ask our class about this question, some answer him yes, and some answered no, those who answered no, was ask first, our teacher ask them why they said no, one of my classmate answered that we cannot learn if we don’t go to school, because in school you learn what you need to learn, and you can also learn some extra knowledge. Another student who answered no, was also ask by our teacher why he answered no, he said that you cannot just learn all by you self; you need someone to guide you, those who have knowledge and those who can teach you what you need to learn. After that our teacher ask some student who answered yes, one of our classmate said that, how about those who do not have money to go to school, but today you can see them have also some knowledge, but of course, we cannot say that they are intelligent because they just learned things with their environment. Then after that our teacher explains that education can also acquire outside the school, he mentioned that those poor people who does not have money to enroll in a school, those person only acquire knowledge through experiences and through the teaching of some people, but our teacher also said that, you can have the best education you need to have if you go to school, because those who will teach you are professionals, and you can acquire the right information you need.
